Are you a talented individual who wants to help take our exciting climate initiative to the next level? 

Lawyers for Net Zero is a rapidly growing non-profit working with one of the most powerful sectors in UK society; the in-house legal community, to deliver significant climate action.

We are ‘bootstrapping’ the initiative, so you would need to commit for the next few months. The aim is to generate grant and/or philanthropic funding by the early Autumn, so that staff can receive income.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious volunteer team member responsible for fundraising with an aim to generate grant/philanthropic funding by Autumn 2021 and help us grow exponentially.

Core responsibilities

Write grant applications and keep the funding pitch deck up to date.

Job Skills Required:

• Languages: the working language of the organisation is English and fluency in this language is required. 

• Excellent communication abilities and outgoing, yet poised personality.

Longer-term

If the successful candidate continues working with us post-fund-raise (which mean they are likely to be paid for their work), then the following are activities the fundraiser would be involved with:

• Assist in planning and coordinating events to raise funds.

• Research potential donors to gain insight into needs, beliefs and donation habits to understand how to position our organisation to them.

• Analyze the performance of fundraising activities for effectiveness.

• Maintain complete and orderly records of donors and manage regular donor communications.

• Build upon existing donor relationships and form new donor relationships on a regular basis.

• Collaborate with other organisations and groups within the community to build partnerships and enhance fundraising activities.

Time Commitment: 

One day a week to change the world!

Minimum 2-3 months commitment depending on availability.
6 hours or more per week.
