Adam Woodhall

Role: CEO and Founder

Entrepreneur, sustainability expert and ‘Legal Personality of the Year’ for 2023. He is working directly with some of the most influential global GCs and has spoken on numerous high profile platforms, such as for the Economist, Reuters and a number of Law Societies national conferences. After working on delivering climate action since 2006, in 2021 he realised the legal sector, particularly in-house, was a largely untapped driver for delivering the sustainability transition.

Harshita Bajaj

Role: Chief Operations Officer

With a foundation in psychology, criminology, and behavioural science, Harshita brings academic depth and practical insight to her work. Currently completing her PhD and serving as a Senior Research Fellow, she applies rigorous research to human behaviour and decision-making. Alongside academia, she has spent four years as a productivity coach. As COO, she strengthens operations and helps GCS Forum deliver our strategy with clarity and impact.

Vishakha Joshi

Role: Project Support

Vishakha has been a contributor in numerous ways, doing data gathering, tracking actions, organizing sessions, coordinating research and vital operational projects. She has worked with the World Bank, UN’s Economic Commission for Europe (Sustainable Energy Division) and has experience on topics such as energy/climate policy, ESG and law. She has also researched and co-authored two books related to climate change and energy. 

 

Dr. Kris de Meyer

Role: Chief Advisor and Non Executive Director

Neuroscientist, science communicator and policy co-production expert, bringing knowledge of how brains and minds work to the communication of and policy responses to controversial topics such as climate change. Director of University College London’s Climate Action Unit, and TEDx speaker.

Jane Pittaway

Role: Stakeholder Advisor

Jane is a highly experienced lawyer and leader with a strong track record having held numerous senior management positions, advising on complex projects and delivering strategic consultancy. She has a particular focus on helping clients manage climate risk and build their systemic resilience.  Having previously served as our Exec Chair, Jane offers a rare blend of expertise and insight in her current role supporting stakeholder engagement.

Roel Staes

Role: Strategy and Governance Advisor
Roel most recently held the position of Senior Vice President Legal, General Counsel, International Operations at FedEx Express. In this role, he was responsible for FedEx Express’ legal, regulatory, compliance and government affairs in Europe, Canada, Latin America, Africa and Asia. He was also Head of Sustainability for Europe. Roel advises GCS Forum on strategy and governance.

Matthew Myers

Role: AI Governance Advisor

With over 15 years’ experience in governance, regulation, compliance and global policy development, Matt has a holistic view of how AI can be adopted safely and sustainably. His most recent roles include advising the boards of the Global Fund in Geneva and the World Bank in Washington DC on governance, risk and public policy issues. Matt is passionate about the opportunities technology presents and an advocate for global, responsible AI.
